Hotel Filippeschi - Orvieto

The WiFi was consistently patchy. The room cleanliness could have been better. I found used soap in the bathroom and only one pillow per bed. The breakfast seemed underwhelming, lacking authentic Italian options like a decent cappuccino. The parking situation was a hassle, as finding a spot and getting back was time-consuming.

The place was fairly clean and we loved single room. The staff was competent and amiable the entire time. The location was central, ideal to upper old town. Plus, it was adjacent to the centre of Orvieto, and Duomo.

Nicely decorated unit with a sofa. Location - fantastic, short walk to the centre of the old town of Orvieto, the center, and Oriveto.

A balance of wins and fails

The location is superb, steps from main attractions. The staff was kind and helpful.

The décor and amenities felt outdated, and noise from the street impacted sleep quality.

The hotel was perfect with incredibly nice breakfasted and a favourable location on top of a hill. Excellent and amicable staff in the whole venue. Large room with a mini bar fridge, iron and ironing board, and a work desk, and exceptionally comfortable bed. Location so close to restaurants, the centre of the old town, and other places of interest.

No complains at all, I recommend, really enjoyed it. The hotel was little, and clean, and the location was great on top of a hill.

It was just a strong match for a short weekend trip in Orvieto with the best value for money ratio. The director prematurely called the police over a small issue.

Historical building charm, Cozy ambience, Short access to scenic viewpoints

Serious noise disturbance from the outside!!! Parking situation is a nightmare with available lots far away!!! Air conditioning completely failed to regulate temperature!!! Room cleanliness lacked attention and was disappointing!!! The decor feels outdated and mismatched!!!

easy access to amazing sites and charming eateries

staying here was a delight, with just a short stroll to the fine Bartolomei Frantoio Museo dell'Olio and a quick stop at the nearby Bistro Miranda for a delicious lunch, making my exploration of Orvieto so enjoyable.

The staff was kind, going out of their way to assist me. The location was perfect-only a five-minute walk to the fine Cathedral and surrounded by good restaurants.

Spacious room with comfy beds. And a lovely desk for work. The staff were cute and provided excellent recommendations for local dining options nearby.

The bathroom lighting was inadequate, and the ambiance could use a touch of modernization.

Centrally located with a quick four-minute walk to the Cathedral, this hotel's staff stands out for their really good service. One employee even went out of her way to help me park my car. The breakfast options were decent, but my room's decor could use an update for a fresher feel. The serene atmosphere was great, although soundproofing was less effective than desired. A pleasant experience with friendly faces and satisfactory amenities, but there are areas to enhance comfort and style.

I had a cozy room with a fantastic view and enjoyed a good breakfast spread each morning, though the access to the bathroom was a bit tricky with stairs. I would definitely return!
